Retina Australia, Inc., formerly The Retinitis Pigmentosa Society (RP Society), represents people who live with retinitis pigmentosa and other retinal dystrophies. These are degenerative diseases causing low vision and a gradual deterioration of a person's sight. The work of RA Inc. is carried out predominantly by volunteers, many who are vision impaired and know the implications of vision loss.
